Since my wedding business originally started in the Hudson Valley NY area, I still have many connections there and now I have a new connection with a venue that is definitely worth traveling for. The Helsinki Hudson is a renovated former factory built in 1863 with four amazing spaces for live music, dining, receptions and cocktails. Rick Brager, the owner is a gracious host and was very attentive to details ensuring a smooth flowing event.
For Christine & Ray, I was performing as the pianist for their extended sunset cocktail hour while they were taking photos. The grand piano was bright and fun to play, lending itself nicely to stride piano which seemed to compliment the festivities nicely. A group of children gathered near the piano and enjoyed dancing so I kept things upbeat! Here are some photos I took before the guests arrived. Congratulations Christine & Ray!
